WONDERMILK

We went for window shopping at Baby Jaya and Anakku today. I've been told by the Baby Jaya SA that there will be a year-end sale in the middle of December. Well, I guess that will be a good time for us to get a stroller, car seat and such :-) We even test-drive the stroller that we planned to buy - Quinny Buzz. As good as the review said: Buzz Review. Yeah, the stroller has its hiccups too. Whatever it is, in the end, it will all depends on your budget :-) For baby's clothes, we decided to buy Anakku brand or maybe Pigeon for the 1st 6 months. She will definitely grows very fast, so tak usah la beli yang berjenama terus :-)

After that, hubby took me to Wondermilk cupcakes shop. Managed to buy 6 cuppies worth RM25 :P Hahaha.. Geleng kepala en. Amir. Tapi, the cupcakes memang sedap pun. Oh ye, forgot to inform. Yesterday I went for dinner at Westin KL - The food sucks :)) Not up to the 5 stars hotel standard I guess - That is my personal view ler. If you like the food there, you like ler. I punya la tak suka sampai gambar pun tak ambil. Ambil gambar dalam restroom je sebab restroom dia best :))

Okla.. Seriously, cannot wait to buy stuff for my little angel :-) And also, tak sabar nak balik kampung for Raya Haji - Thesis pun dah siap, bonus pun masuk bulan ni, tinggal lagi 2 bulan untuk tengok my angel live in my arms :-) Good things, good things. Syukur pada Allah.

Tadi lunch pergi makan kat Restoran Ikan Bakar Fend @ Dataran Glomac, KJ. Sedap woo. Hubby cakap esok malam dia bawak gi makan dinner pulak kat situ. Overall menu kitorang tadi adalah seperti berikut:

Hubby will be out for one whole week starting Tuesday for out station *sigh* Duduk rumah sorang-sorang. Dah la shift awal *huhu* Alangkah bagusnye kalau saya boleh ikut sekali.

a SHE!!

Yes, affirmative. The hot bun in my oven is XX. I went for check-up today at Pantai Med Centre in Bangsar - And damn, hate to wait so long. Just imagine, we arrived at 12 PM and after waiting and such, we only managed to take off at 4.30 PM. How cool is that?

Yeah, my gynae was not on time. She had a meeting at Cyberjaya and thought she could arrive on time at the hospital, but ended up, stucked up in traffic jam. Whatever it is - Baby is doing fine, healthy. My gynae is surprised because I haven't got any sign of stretch marks (I'm 27 weeks already). Heee *proud* So, kenala maintain. En Amir said he always massage my belly with Bio-Oil when I felt asleep - Really? Should I believe him? Sebabnya saya tengok botol Bio-Oil tu still penuh, tak surut-surut pun.

By the way, I have bought four maternity clothes composing of tunic/shirt/maxi. Semua cantik. I'll take a picture and will upload it later, oke. Still can wear my Guess jeans - Levi's pun still boleh masuk except that I have to unbutton it :P Takpe, nobody would notice and my jeans won't slip off easily because of my current waist/hip cutting.

Another story I wanna share is, I managed to present my Masters thesis *Alhamdulillah* Harap-harap sangat boleh konvo dengan my little angel next year. Right now, tengah busy amend apa-apa yang patut before submission final report. Wooohooo! So, tercapai jugak la cita-cita my abah nak tengok saya complete my Masters degree. Should I pursue with lecturing/teaching career? Nahhhh.. Not yet interested. I enjoy doing my current work. After maternity leave ni, insyAllah tukar assignment lagi, hopefully dapat la server assignment yang saya idam-idamkan and boleh la travel lagi for training :-)

Pavlova

Yeeha!! Finally, I got to eat pavlova from Alexis that I've been craving for the past two months. We went to Great Eastern mall last Monday to cancel our so called investment-linked insurance policy by Great Eastern. We plan to get a solid life insurance from Prudential or maybe ING after this. Apart from that, I just cut down my EPF contribution rate to 8% - This rate will only be in effect until Dec 2010, so at least we have extra money for couple of months when the baby is here. Just imagine, previously, when my contribution rate is 11% for EPF, my salary has been deducted for RM500. I know it is meant for saving, but still? Income tax some more that costs me almost RM300 monthly, that's crazy. At the end of the day, my salary figure is not that awesome anymore.

By the way, I do withdraw my EPF money for Unit Trusts investment ;-) Earlier this month, we have received two gifts from the company and the department. The first one is the iPOD shuffle for 1,000,000 safe hours safety celebration and the second one for e-mail department, I got RM20 Starbucks voucher due to no high incident/outages throughout the 3rd quarter.

The voucher - Valid until 2010. Planning to get a tumbler :-)

October Update

Salam all :-)

Yippee! How time flies so fast. Currently, I'm 25 weeks pregnant, perut memang dah obvious sampai my supervisor always teased me about it, he even joke about my style of walks (sabor je la). I just received my yearly increment - whopping 17% increment. Rezeki baby - Although my performance ranking is still bad (hey.. I'm competing and being ranked globally you all (across three regions to be exact; North America, South America and Asia Pacific) - You can never be on top of the rank unless you are American - Hehehe, kidding, kidding; it's just me not performing during the assessment period). But still, I get paid with awesome figures by the company.

Barang baby apa pun tak beli lagi. Been so busy lately, nak hantar draft thesis report nye, attending cousin's engagement nyer ceremony, kerja banyak, yada yada. So, it's been quite stressfull month for me - Tambah2 lagi, when en Amir buat something yang menyakitkan hati saya.

Another 3 months to go. Hopefully, everything will goes on smoothly after this. Takde dah benda-benda unhappy jadi. Anyway, it's already 1 AM and I'm still awake :P It's Saturday night and I had my afternoon nap already; that's why I don't feel sleepy yet. By the way, we went to Hajaba boutique after lunch today. Ewww.. Tak suka la baju kat situ. I think most of the items there are overpriced. Pardon me, maybe untuk orang lain, item-item kat situ murah tapi untuk saya, tidak la :-) And the sad thing is, most of the baju size paling kecil adalah size M - Even though the sales person kata size M ni cutting kecik, for me, it still looks big. Yer, saya memang suka pakai baju kecik :P I though of going to Variante boutique this Monday, tu pun kalau rajin nak jalan pegi KLCC.

Oh yer, before signing off, I wanna share something. Last two weeks, I have been admitted to the LABOR ward in Pantai Med Centre, Bangsar :-) Interesting eh? Actually, I fell down from the staircase at my office on that Friday afternoon. So, that night, we rushed to the hospital. Admitted to ER department, the doctor called my gynae and she asked me to be admitted to the labor ward to monitor the contraction. Alhamdulillah, everything turned out to be just fine, lebam besor la sikit kat area bottom tu :P Serik dah, lepas ni, jangan cakap banyak bila tengah berjalan (I know I was looking at the staircase and my steps) - However, mishap still can happened :-(
